When you are making money online on any of the best 5 freelancing websites, there are many ways that the best freelancing websites provide users to get paid.  When you are signing up in your freelancing account or profile, you should always remember to fill in the details of payment to link up the money you make with your bank account in Kenya.

Connecting your Freelancing Account to Kenyan Bank Account (KCB CASE STUDY)

Banks in Kenya allow you to link up your freelancing accounts and withdraw funds directly into your account in Kenya. When your funds are transferred from the freelancing account into your bank account, the money is converted to Kenya Shillings with the current dollar exchange rate.

When you are linking up your bank account with your freelancing account you require a certain code called Swift Code. I have previously connected the KCB SWIFT CODE to connect an Odesk account and it was successful.

To connect to your KCB Bank account:

 1) Log in to your freelancing account (in this case I am illustrating with Odesk Account)

 2) Use the KCB Swift Code to Connect both account by copying it in the slot left for Swift Code in your Odesk Freelancing Account

3)Select your currency in Kenya Shillings

4) Fill your bank details to complete linking your freelancing account to your local bank account. 

5) Wait for 2-3 Business days to get confirmed.
