How Online Businesses Fail Terribly (Blog Model)

How Online Businesses Fail Terribly (Blog Model)
Many new online businesses in Kenya either fail within their first year or continue to give little or no profits at all. It is possible for online businesses to do very well in Kenya only for those who will heed to advice in this article.

I have been around for a few years and I have seen online blog based businesses started with a lot of zeal only to end up as complete failure. By looking at some of the reasons why these blogs failed I have come up with a great way you can use to tell whether your online blogging venture is destined for failure or success.

  Foundation of Successful Blog
The foundation of a successful blog revolves around a certain idea that provides value to the blog visitors. Without an idea that solves a particular problem, your blog may not do very well and neither will your blogs from this business. To help you stop riding a dead horse, you should start analyzing whether your idea is going to work based on the following criterion:

    Keywords Choice

Keywords are the foundation of the blogging business model, if you started a blog without targeting specific keywords; you are going to have very hard time making money with your blog. You should look for keywords that will help you attract traffic and get more from payment by targeting keywords that have high CPC value.

    Competition Analysis
A whole bunch of keywords that you have in mind may be your plan to failure. Whilst there are many keywords that we want to personalize and rank for, you should evaluate the competition on the keywords and always go for the keywords that have low competition and are likely to rank higher within a short period of time.

  Content Spinning
The road to blog failure has a lot of encouragement about content spinning. If you are building a valuable business online the idea of spinning content should be out of your mind. Instead you should focus on creating content that is engaging to the readers and will make them want to come back again to read your content. Take time to read and create useful content, you should keep focused on writing content that is original and helpful to the readers, searching for specific keywords that you want to rank for.

   Ignoring Analytics
Nothing is as valuable to a blog as Google analytics and other analytic tools, they will help you refine your content to produce only content that you will rank better for. You should never ignore the role analytics play in guiding your future content production.

Snubbing Social Media

This is another common mistake that many bloggers commit; they only want to write blog posts but are reluctant to share. You should strive to share all the content published on your blog as soon as it’s published. Make use of the free automation tools that publish content on social media platforms on your behalf immediately you post on your blog. If you implement these measures and consistently produce useful and quality content, your blog is going places and you will reap great rewards in future.
